15 states offering free college tuition programs

With the price of everything so high – from eggs to houses – the thought of adding a college education on top of that is mind-boggling. Currently, the average cost of college in the United States is $38, 270 per year year, including tuition, room and board, books, supplies, etc. That’s a lot.

Fortunately, there’s a bit of help as 15 states offer free college tuition programs with no income requirements. These vary from state-to-state, some are for older learners, some are for two-year community colleges, so it makes sense to investigate each program according to your needs.
