The short answer is: not much.
While Trump’s campaign rhetoric called for cutting regulations on home builders, opening federal lands for new construction and reducing mortgage rates to 3% (or lower!), so far, all that has been accomplished is establishing a task force to look into roughly 500 million acres managed by the Interior Department as a source for housing development.
Of course, the President has very little control over interest rates so 3% is probably a long way off.
