The news isn’t earth shattering but given all the market uncertainty of the last 4-5 months, the general direction has to be be considered a real positive. Asking prices declined for the eighth straight month at 2.5% year-over year – the biggest drop since 2017.
New listings rose 2.4% year-over -year while pending sales increased for the seventh straight month.
Finally, the median time for homes on the market held steady at 53 days – the first time in 26 months that that number hasn’t increased. Buyers are looking to buy!
