Despite all the challenging economic news, the late spring housing market showed some encouraging signs of life. Specifically, new listings and contract signings were both up fairly significantly.
New listings are up in 2026 in every region but are especially strong in the Midwest.
Likewise, contract signings in creased everywhere except in the Northeast, dues, no doubt to the extreme winter storms.
