Rates going nowhere

With the Federal Reserve scheduled to hold their next meeting April 28, most analysts believe they will leave the benchmark rate unchanged. This will mark the final decision of Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell before his term expired May 15.

Many now predict that the interest rate will actually be same in December as it is today due to the increased rate of inflation, due primarily to the war with Iran. This despite that Trump nominee, Kevin Warsh, will take over for Powell.
