Home sales continue decline

The National Association of Realtors reported that sales of previously owned homes dropped in August for the seventh straight month.

Whiles sales were down, home prices in 20 U.S. cities declined 0.4 percent in July, the first monthly decline since 2012.

Of course, the uncertain economy and, more important, high mortgage rates which have doubled this year alone are largely responsible for the rapid decrease in home sales.
